Bernard 275th anniversary snuff

Any one else tried this? Its a wonderful snuff. Strong menthol, but a strong fruity/chocolate flavour underneath. Easy to take and the flavours really work well. Dont like the little plastic dispenser though, but it does encourage the back of the hand snuff, rather than my usual pinch, which is the best way to take a moist snuff IMHO.

David, I love this snuff !!!

Its a new one for me Pieter, but its fantastic. I got 11 snuffs in the post today and this is the one that has kept my attention. I used to think O&G was the ultimate menthol snuff but after spending the day with this, I may have to re-think that.

Is this the Jubilaums Snuff? I had some several months ago and thoroughly enjoyed it, but the only other Bernards I have tried is Amostrinha which I’m not fond of so I don’t really have anything to compare it to.

It was the 260 Jubiläums-snuff when I first tried it  In fact I still have some of the tap boxes labelled as such. Same snuff and not bad at all.

You show off Ermtony  Its a bloody good snuff, better than not bad at all!

Sounds interesting. Does Bernard bros. sell snuff in anything else but the tap boxes?

a few in glass and a few in bags

@ Jari T: a few varieites come in little glass bottles, but these seem to be transitioning to the tap boxes. Also a couple (Offenbacher Cardinal, Gekechelter Virginie) come in large 50g boxes. Never tried the Jubiläums, but I do like the other menthols I’ve tried from Bernard: Polar Prise, Zwiefacher and Amostrinha.

Not showing off at all, by ermtony. I have taken the the 260 Jubiläums from from his box, I can vouch it is the same snuff. It is a good snuff. Get educated in the St. John’s Hull.

Thanks, Xander. I have only had the three Brasils. At least one of them came in a larger pouch/bag. I think. The Gekachelter Virginie sure sounds interesting (this “new order” of posts is bewildering) Edit: now the order seems to be OK again. (Thanks Alex, hope you can take all this commentary in stride)

@ Jari T: Its not in order from my view. My answer is now many posts before your question. Its quite bizzare! Yes, those Brasil schmalzlers used to be in foil pouches. You can still find them included with the Bernard gift sets. One that really, really needs to return to the glass bottle is the Fienster Kownoer. It turns to black sand like a Samuel Gawith rappee in those tap boxes. The oil based snuffs seem to tolerate the boxes better. However, I don’t see why they would not also sell everything in foil pouches as well. Surely it would be cheaper.

I still have Jubilaums from last year. I’ll take a couple hits for Christmas for sure. It will have a few more years on it then.
