I just thought I would share this little find with you chaps. I was in Oxford on Friday, looking at the different colleges that make up the University as I am planning on going to Oxford next year. However, I came across a brilliant little find. A shop by the name of Fredrick Tranter. They have shops in Bath, Cambridge and Oxford and do around 30 different flavours of snuff, a vast range of fine cigars, pipes and pipe tobacco. They also do their own blends of pipe tobacco, not to mention some beautiful pipes. Now, to the point of this post. Me and my other half bought 3 tins, 25g each and it came to amazing £7.68. That works out at £2.58 each. I thought it was going to be alot more expensive. It’s WoS snuff just in the same tin with a different label. I recommend if anyone goes to any of the aforementioned locations, do pop into the Fredrick Tranter shops. A rare treat indeed.
The Cambridge store has closed down, and I believe the Bath store is much smaller than the Oxford branch.
I was in Bath the day and completely forgot to pop in; I’ll definitely go next time I’m there.

Well, I think for the most part they are simply WoS snuff with a different label. However, the real treat is going into their shop. It’s rare to find one like that these days and I suppose if I do get into Oxford, I won’t have to look far to get my snuff!
GF just got back from 3 weeks in Oxford. Told her to look for snuff but she could care less about that.
