Barrel Heater

I must be a little slow on the uptake, if you get my drift.  I’ve been frustrated lately on getting cured leaf to fully mature which takes only time, moisture and some warmth.  I just stuffed a shit load of red Virginia leaf into an oak barrel and wrapped it in a heating pad I use for my sore back, wrapped that in some plastic wrap and stuck in a cooler.  In just a few hours the sugars are already turning the leaf a nice dark color and should get to black in a few days.
