Barnyard scent?

J

How do they get the barnyard scent in some of the Indian snuffs?

P

I would assume something to the effect of cigar leaf. I have some snuff that I ground up from cigar rolling scraps, and it has a strong barnyard scent similar to the Indian snuffs that I have.

S

+1 on the cigar leaf.

tips, or ligero, when well fermented have the most pleasant barnyard scent.

Z

Alternaively; Elephant dung!!!
:))

P

@Zanaspus My second guess If their tobacco production shares any similarity to their coffee production, I wouldn’t rule it out

P

They have the animals share the land and the tobacco is covered in animal dung.

Which ones smell of ‘barnyard’? I can’t say I’ve encountered any with that trait, unlike the Taxi Red I got recently. I’m still not sure what to make of it. Is it legal?! So (ahem) different to anything else I’ve tried, I’m actually a little scared of it.

T

6P Super Kailash definitely has that cow manure smell in the tin. I love it, but that initial whiff almost put me off. Taxi Red has a scent that reminds me of a stable, but it’s another one I enjoy despite issues getting it to stay in my nose. Oddly, I don’t really notice too much in the way of nicotine from it.

F

6P Kailash I haven’t had,Tobe - but I’ll take your word for it! I let the Taxi air for six hours yesterday and the tin trauma has lessened a little. As for nicotine I think it has oceans and probably constitutes most of it’s abundant moisture - but it delivers it by stealth.I’m on nights and slept during the six hours the Taxi aired. Upon waking I had two generous toots with no immediate effects like 41P WE, for instance. Fifteen minutes later though, I found myself well and truly couch-locked and with absolutely no desire for more nicotine.

Couch-locked =)) I do like the slow flow of nic on the coarser snuffs, but find they can sometimes be a little too messy and cause a little too much flow for away from home or in the company of non-snuffers. Sometimes a follow up pinch of a finer snuff can help in this respect though
