Ready to ship.
Ordered. Did I make it first? Blackhawks season kicked off and the Cubs look better than horrible this year, so I’m feeling competitive.
@Hitsuzen Your count is 0-2 bottom of the ninth. :)
ok just got the Bananas Foster in the mail, large tin.
first of all, I like fresh bananas and desserts with banana in them but I don’t like very ripe bananas or banana candy>>>
this snuff comes across like this to me:
the impression from the tin is tobacco with a very alluring ethereal banana scent. Like, you kinda want to eat it.
then the pinch is a slightly moist, fine grind that hits you with an essential banana and then tobacco.
the tobacco takes over for a while and then the banana comes back for some fun.
it really smells like banana not banana oil or anything artificial or weird.
banana then dissipates, and you’re left with a nice tobacco finish.
i don’t really get a banana bread feeling with this. it’s more like you walked into a kitchen were the Chef is cooking up a lot of banana with sugar and some spirits so the room just ignites with the scent but you were happening to also have some amazing tobacco in your nose at the same time…
anyways it’s amazing and will not disappoint. even if bananas aren’t your thing, this might change your mind
thanks again @chefdaniel for yet another beautiful concoction for us to enjoy!
I had just gotten off work and was starving when I got this in the mail, and I too wanted to eat this. But, I just fed my nose instead… very easy snuff to take. @jmahes was right on with the coming and going of the banana, though I personally do get reminded of banana bread with this snuff. I keep all of my Old Mill snuffs refrigerated, fill tap boxes as needed, but I can’t bring myself to put this one in the fridge. No point, it’s getting used all day everyday.
I just got my order day before yesterday and included was the Banana’s Foster. It was the 1st tin I opened… It’s just like the dessert in a fine restaurant without the snooty waiter. Yummy! Easy to take and stays in the nose with no back or front drip to speak of. Smooth and fragrant in a nutty, buttery, banana kind of way. I hope the Chef keeps this one on the menu forever. I would hate to see this one fade away. I don’t know how well it will age but I’m going to buy a large tin just in case this amazing treat sells out which I’m sure it will. If you enjoy Spotted Dick you will like this just as much if not more. Kudos to the Chef.
