Are you throwing out snuff?

S

I was in my local pub last night and met up with ermtony, his wife Penny and daughter Bridget. Tony offered me some Pöschl Ozona President, and my comments where that I haven’t tried that for some time, and I like the container with the mirror finish as it’s ideal for making sure you don’t get a Hitler moustache. I mentioned that it is a pity the containers are welded and you can’t refill them with other snuff. Tony informed me that they do open. I said I’ll have a go, as I kept the container just for the mirror. That Ozona container has been laying on a shelf now for over six months, so this afternoon I decided to open it to refill it with some other snuff. Imaging my surprise, I found it wasn’t empty, it was almost half full! The snuff must have been so damp and clotted at the Dispensing aperture. Not one grain of snuff lost as I always take the precaution of working over a A4 sheet of paper when opening up snuff containers. So brake up all plastic containers before casting them out.

Yep, Poschl containers almost always get some stuck in them. Always open before discarding.

P

I had the same experience with the little round Poschl Raspberry tin. It was still almost half full when I opened it.

T

just pry along seam & it will pop open.

S

Yes, First flip the dispensing flap open and start there with finger and thumb.

S

Yep, on the inside of the flap is the best place to start working it open.

P

Remember!!! Open up over a piece of paper, otherwise your trouble will be waisted.

S

Yes, as i mentioned in my first post on this thread. Over some paper, so sad to watch snuff fall to the floor.

Never had that problem. Though if I can’t get snuff out of that type of container I shake it up and down like I’am trying to give it whip lash. Seems to work everytime.
