Anyone Snuffing Their Way Through the World Series?

I live in Kansas City.  I’ve lived 46 of my 47 years here in Kansas City.  As a kid especially, I worshiped the Royals.  George Brett, Willie Wilson, Frank White, Amos Otis, Freddie Patek, Darrel Porter, Dan Quisenberry…and the list goes on.

Anyhow, two games into the World Series with the Mets, and the Royals are up 2 games to nothing.  Anyone else snuffing their way through the games…watching and cheering?

Who are you pulling for?  No disrespect for the Mets, by the way.  I like the Mets (afterall, they aren’t the Yankees).  :-)

I’ll have this discussion all by myself…and not feel bad about it at all!

Anyone watch the game tonight?  Royals win 5-3, and they are up 3 games to 1 in the series.  Come on, get excited with me!!!

There’s room on the Royal’s bandwagon…jump on up here.   There’s lots of cheers and beers.  LOL.

Oh hell no.  You can’t hog this one.  Last night was a great example of baseball strategy…laying in ambush waiting for the opposition to make a mistake and then POUNCE!

Perfectly played by the Royals.  I alternated between PVT and a few Hemingway Classics, a tot or ten of Jameson and several stouts.

Can’t wait for tonight.

I was snuffing Pure Virginia Toast, with an occasional Nocturne just to mix it up.  They are completely different, but with just a little time between them, they can go on top of each other.

Fingers-crossed on tonight!!!

If you aren’t watching the World Series, you are missing a battle.  Royals tied it up in the 9th inning, 2-2, and now we’re going into the 12th inning.

I was alternating Viking Brown and Viking Dark up until a few minutes ago.  Now I’m hitting Old Mill’s PVT again.

If you are watching the game…what snuff are you enjoying?

Mark

And they win the game in the 12th inning, 7-2.  Win the World Series in 5 games.  Man its fun to watch these guys play…

I cut the cord long ago so I don’t watch baseball much during the regular season, but I saw some of the series against the Jays. The Royals had quite a team this year, fun to watch like you say. Congratulations!

Congratulations!!  A great game.  My wife went to bed bottom of the eighth, Mets up 2.

I stayed on it and raised all kinds of hell when KC pulled it out.  Great comeback.  Great game.

I miss it like a lover.  Coming into 2016 it feels like half of the Mariners are new to the team so this spring training will be full of hand shakes and introductions, but I’m super excited to see how all the changes play out.
*humblebrag*  I was able to go to 28 games last year, one in the owner’s suite, and even got to see Iwakuma’s no-hitter from dugout seats.

Man that is great! I would have loved to have gone to that many games. That No-hitter was amazing.
