Anyone know?

Yesterday I received a package of two samples of snuff, both probly 1 and 1/2 to 2 grams in red plastic snap lid containers and had no return address, post mark Akron Ohio. They both had computer printed labels on the lids, one marked Spanish Gem, the other Sam Gawith Hazelnut. Who ever sent them Thank You. The Spanish Gem is amazing and before I knew it I had used almost all of it. The other marked hazelnut smelled soapy(lakeland scent-ish) similar to G&H SP but stronger and had a pretty fine grind. No Hint of Hazelnut flavor at all. I was not expecting the soap scent, being marked hazelnut, enjoyable but just wasn’t expecting it. I hope the one marked Spanish Gem was Toques cuz I have a tin on the way, but if the one marked Hazelnut was actually Samuel Gawiths Hazelnut I will be sorely disapointed because that is also in the order on its way. Has anyone else had this experience with Sams Hazelnut or was this just mislabeled? Can anyone help on who might have sent this as I would love to repay this act of kindness.

Then it was me…no just kidding but can’t you narrow it down by figuring out who who gave your address to

I’ve got a 25g tin of SG hazelnut and it smells like hazelnut so maybe it was just mislabelled? Also when did secret santa start being so early??

distaind… unless it is from another board, you are the only one here that has my address and if it wans’t you fine sir I am clueless of who it could have been.

No, wish I could tell you it was me to solve your mystery but its not. And let me know what other boards your on maybe I will post my address and hope to receive some secret Santa snuff :D. Then again mystery powders with no return address sounds a bit dangerous lol

I agree with distaind no return address with unfamiliar products does sound dangerous. I know the hazelnut I used was very heavy with hazelnut flavor. Just be careful you never know

I found out who it was, and his generosity was repaid saturday morning.

If Conan Doyle wrote endings like that, Sherlock Holmes would not have been very popular. Most people who read a mystery, don’t just want to hear “and the case was solved” as the climax. :frowning:

I’m with xander. this is like one of those movies that ends and you’re like “really? that wasn’t an ending at all!”

I done my share of mystery snuff. enough said

And that’s probly why I’m not a writer. That and I’m not that good at spelling and grammar.

We still don’t know who dun it…

yea explain the situation brother

It was actually a very good family friend, who I did not even know used tobacco because when I was younger he was vary anti-tobacco.
