Been waiting forever seems like for Mrsnuff to re-stock 6P Motia in a smaller tin than the 45 grams and while I was waiting they ran out of Bernard’s Zwiefacher and Postillion. Its been a couple weeks on the Bernard’s and over a month on the 6P. Any clue on how they re-stock, or has anyone noticed a trend with certain varieties being stocked at certain times?
I have a feeling it varies with the product. Maybe if it’s a British snuff, they can restock individual items quite quickly, if the manufacturer has stock. But for less popular items from overseas, particularly somewhere like India, I guess that they’d wait until they feel the need to order a whole bunch of products from the same manufacturer. I don’t know how 6P Motia ranks, but I have another feeling that it might not be the fastest moving item.

@Barbertrey: @JakartaBoy got it right. Indian snuffs in particular are the most difficult because of customs and so on. However you can always email jaime @mrsnuff and ask her if she has a time-frame. She does the ordering so she would know best.
yeah restock times dont seem too often and i should’ve heeded everyone’s warning about buying small quantities. And of course due to customs and things like that all the English brands im sure get updated most frequently.

Very disappointed with the last order from Mr.snuff. Am also very wary about ordering again! May order from Snuff store instead (but guess I am dealing with same people) Maybe my store credit for one of the 3 items is still in their system. 2 3 items never showed up in first package but were listed on invoice and was charged items Plus shipping. Made complaints to Mr. Snuff and was told items would be re-shipped. Well I have gave up hope for these sniffs I order to be ever shipped and never got a re- embersment for those 2 cans of snuff. Most disappointed that they were American snuff ordered! Most odd was they came in a envelope with address in NY. That dose not exist!! Worst of all I live here in the States and paid good money for overseas services and feel I have been taken advantage off.
@nicmizer The American snuffs come shipped separately, the one time I ordered them they arrived one week later. It was no problem. I emailed them and they replied telling me they would come soon. You could have ordered the American snuff from America if it was that big of a deal… Oh wait no you couldnt have. Unless you want to e mail swisher, they would have gladly sold you a case. Or you could have drove to ??? and picked some locally… lol. Anyway, I cant say I understand the post, it says that 2 items were missing. Then later you say they came in a envelope… So the items were missing or they came separate? Did you send them a rude email, then come here posting that it was lost and your snuff came from NY? I feel like something is missing from the story here. I dont represent them at all, I am sarcastic, mean, and offer poor customer service for anyone. But considering they are just about the best snuff company on the planet, you may want to find a new habit… er hobby.
8 ordered 8 were payed for and invoice showed 7 plus a credit credit for 1 5 showed up That means 2 are missing and I got no credit for the 2 or the shipping I played for on those 2 Plus the fact that they said they would re-ship order and I never did see it. That in simpler terms is why I am unhappy about that order.
@nicmizer, in my earliest days on snuffhouse, I also posted a public complaint about MrSnuff, when I should have just contacted them directly, so I’ll be gentle. They aren’t perfect and things sometimes do go wrong. But tell them what went wrong and I guarantee that they will make every effort to fix it, even in somewhat dubious cases involving lost shipments overseas in circumstances that are beyond their control. Apart from anything else, it’s not really a buyers market, there just aren’t that many vendors with the range that MrSnuff has, so if you want to keep on getting access to a great range, you really do have to try to work it out by talking to them directly. Be polite to Andrea, she’s everyone’s favourite customer service person, a genuinely cool froodette. It’s worth it in the end, as well as being the right way to go about it.
I would blame customs. Handling packages like the police with a search warrant!
The package was never shipped from overseas. It came from New York as the snuff was all American brands, so I can’t blame customs. I did contact mr. Snuff about the issue and still didn’t get the 2 cans or credit. I think I will stop my comment to the group here. The problems I had should not concern members. Just my 2 cents about order and restocking that I had on last order from Mr. Snuff.
I thought snuff couldn’t be shipped state to state in the US due to PACT. Otherwise why are we all ordering from england?
Just to jump back in here and answer my own question as per the advice from @MrSnuff I contacted them directly and they answered me within minutes. 6P Motia will now only be carried in the 45 gram tin, Zwiefacher has been re-stocked and postilion will be shortly. Very pleased. Never have had any problems with MrSnuff, they’ve handled all my orders great and after my recent experience I can say they have an excellent customer service staff.
