Liverpool & London. Any body have any history on this snuff. Thanks
Any affiliation to the the USA Old Mill we all love today?
I’m sure there’s no direct link… Possibly an homage in the naming. This was after a brief Internet search of under three minutes however, so I reserve the right to be totally wrong.
No affiliation. Never heard of them until now.
I’ve been retained as counsel by the descendants of the aforementioned parties, who are troubled by the use of the Old Mill name by an unaffiliated individual, namely yourself @chefdaniel. Fortunately, I was able to negotiate an arrangement granting you sole rights to the Old Mill name, provided that you send no less than 50 grams of all current and future snuffs produced to me. So that I can forward it on to my clients, obviously.
@Tobe I will dutifully comply as soon as Hell fields a hockey team.
@chefdaniel I had to try!
@Tobe It was a very nice try. I’m looking for a solid goal tender for NHL’s newest team: Hell’s Angels
Only thing which I am aware if Cope Bros & Co. Liverpool and London they were original makers (blenders) of Escudo Navy Cut Tobacco before production was acquired by A C Petersen in Denmark (nowadays Orlik/STG Group).
See wikipedia for rather short company history: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cope\_Bros\_%26\_Co

Yeah someone is selling some old mill on eBay, apparently a snuff manufacturer of yesteryear. 291756624149
I saw the one on eBay too! $75!!! It looks like an old American Scotch type.
There was an American scotch snuff called Old Mill by US Tobacco Company, the same manufacturers that did Rooster, Bruton and Red Seal, among others.
