After I open a tin I continue to snuff out of the tin during the day and store it in a Mason jar at night (or when not in use). Total time a tin might be out in a given day is a couple hours, then it’s back in the jar. Any potential problems with this system? Should I just dump my snuff loose into a jar and scoop it out as needed for use?

I’m with @basement_shaman‌. I keep enough on hand to use for the month and order more when it’s time, a few odds and ends notwithstanding.

Appreciate the feedback, guys. I have 8 large mason jars I can store full tins in or, alternative, decant 8 snuffs. These are the same size I use for my pipe tobacco, and I can comfortably stack 4-5 tins per bottle (not including F&T, which seems to be fine on its own. I have a 1 year-old tin of Patchouli that is plenty moist and fresh after being kept in a desk drawer). I know enough to keep the menthols separated, and have never noticed any other cross-contamination (then again, I’m not an uber connoisseur). Anyway, thank you. I’ll probably invest in some smaller jars eventually so I can just decant everything. For now, though, it sounds like my “system” will work,
