I like to use bullets on occasion to keep my desk clean and something I have found that vastly improves the performance of a bullet is to keep a small metal object inside with the snuff to prevent clumping and help gravity push the snuff into the bowl. I use a small nut from a nut and bolt set though I am sure a ball bearing or similar would work as long as it is clean.

I think I remember years back something like that being mentioned. Might have been a BB or buckshot pellet. I’d go with the former as the latter is likely lead.

I don’t know xander but I do know someone used a few tiny ball bearings (spelling?) in a tuperware tiny jar thing as a grinder. They specified which type to use, the bestmy non mechanical know how can remember is ungreased ball barrings.

This works really well, thanks for the idea!
