American scotch learning curve

I’ve been using Levi Garret’s sweet and the scotch only for maybe two years. It’s the only thing that’s avaible locally in Cali or my area. I finally ordered toque toast and berwick brown 50 gram Econ. Bags. I learned on the American brands on how to do this habit. First ? Can I mix a toast and a scotch. I’m kind of a plain jane guy don’t really enjoy weird sugary flavored stuff hopefully what I’ve got isn’t go to turn on me scent wise. Second? Should I stick to one brand for a while to get an actual difference of scents I have a feeling I’ll turn to Levi garret scotch in the matter of convience and habit. Is toque going to knock my socks off I enjoy that wtf just happened feeling that dry snuff does do all Styles have the moment of clarity. I’m also poor and limited finances can’t afford anything at any time I’m willing to trade what I got for what I got if anybody’s intrested let me know I’ll try to square you away fairly if not let me know.

@Miletch First off Welcome to Snuffhouse.org <:-P So glad you could join us. You can mix anything, Try in small one gram batches until you get it right for your taste. Toque natural Toast and Berwick Brown are great on there own Toque quit delivers. IMO Friborg & Treyer High Dry Toast is the best toast. 41 Photo White Elephant & Dholakia White are two of my favorites Indian white snuffs very fine and deliver that vitamin N. McChrystals Hops is one that knocked my socks off first time I used it,beautifully done. Explore when you can. There are so many styles, grinds, moisture levels, flavors to enjoy. Stick with one brand or jump all over the globe, your choices are endless and your journey has just begun.

Yeah eventually going to have some funds later on in the year I might need to jump around. I have some phobia of mixing it dosnt sound good to me. You know crossing streams or something lol Thanks for the greeting

Dholakia White & Toque Rustica are my favorite mixers. They bump up the nicotine content without changing the scent much. We all have a Mad Chemist inside >:) Enjoy your ride

Snuff is there to use however you wish. There is a huge wealth of options to explore and choose from without the need for mixing, however if you feel the inclination then mix away. Different snuffs will taste different at different times (humidity, temperature, background scents) so be prepared to prepare different snuffs at different times. You have a lot of potential to explore, and I wish you fun and happiness as your journey unfolds. Welcome aboard!

I find that attempting to moisten toasts and scotches or mix them with other (moister) snuffs changes the flavor to something less pleasant. I know this doesn’t make much sense, because all snuffs are moist once they hit the moisture in your nose. I don’t really have an explanation, but it does seem to make them taste ‘stale’ to me for want of a better word. Everyone’s experience is different though, so why not experiment? You can mix tiny quantities to try them out, so you won’t be wasting much by experimenting.
