Don’t know if you guys saw this yet but Snuffhouse is now officially FAMOUS!. see Wireddave
Very nice. Snuffhouse Rocks!
Just the other day I was looking around that site to see if this had been published yet. Thanks for the link Dave.
The ones chosen for the picture look kind of weak. They had to include a namrata envelope to fill it out, and most of the snuffs are in smash boxes so you don’t know which ones they picked. They should have asked Leman for some photos. ok, need to finish reading it now.
Just got the e-mail from the editor. Great article and have a look at the picture galery. There are some very nice picture (including Jaap and the windmills).
Very good article. It’s nice to see media being non-biased towards a tobacco product. That is very hard to come by. Congratulations, Alex. ~Snuffy

Nice article Alex! I also liked seeing Jaap’s windmills up close on the link in your article. It is good to see positive snuff info out there. We are the unknown underground…
I really didn’t like this article. It gave a whole vibe, that is not what I get from snuff at all, or here. Also some idiot comments at the bottom. It’s not a hip kewl new fad, most of us I think are over 40. And who here started with snuff and went to ciggs? I always heard it the other way around. I think many of us, if not most, came to snuff seeking a tobacco pleasure that is not smoking ciggs, or having a wad of dip and having to spit.
I’m now reading the article on the windmills. This is very good. Jaap has a very awesome snuff tin collection. Great photos!
It’s wired I guess the snuffers their readers would know would be young hipsters. Though I think this is one of the most diverse groups I’ve seen. I would have to say all walks of life.
I wish I was a young hipster. I guess I’ll have to be satisfied with being an old hippy.
I’m only 22, but I’m no “hipster.” I enjoy snuff and having discussions with a mature people, so I love this forum. Great recognition for snuffhouse.org, which probably means more sales to our sponsors on the left as well.
I think some of the article I must have missed. But the 1st page, and the reader comments on it, is what I was replying to. I’ll read it more later.
Ack! Most of the readers comments were of extreme ignorance. One was really negative but cited no evidence to support his claims. I’d like to know the average age of the snuffhouse members. I guess we’re not set up to do polls, so I’ll just start a thread. You can tell me your age (whisper if you want to keep it private) and I’ll do the math.
Yes, anytime there is tobacco involved, some ignorant people feel the need to chime in. Its absurd.
Yesterday someone tried to convince me of the dangers of snuff by sending me some article where some dude got cancer from putting it in his ear for many years. I was like “Well, I guess I’m lucky I don’t use it in my ears!” That was crazy lol.
Wired has much to answer for; they’ve had many ignorant and/or biased articles in the past, and this is yet another. It’s not as bad as it might have been, and though the exposure is good, it’s a two-edged deal. The little insinuations made throughout the article give the whole piece a snide undertone which is developed more fully by the host of idiotic comments people felt compelled to leave.
Great article except for most of the dumb uneducated comments on the bottom. People trying to act like they know what they are talking about, saying its going to eat your face off! LOL
How stupid and ignorant some commenters are is ridiculous. Some of them didn’t read the article clearly before making the absurd conclusion that snuff is a remarketed product by cigarette companies! This is enraging! But overall, the article is not bad~~ The pholo gallery is quite delightful.
