Well, I’ve been on a bit of tear with the carving of snuff spoons. This latest one is carved from Afzelia Burl, a hard-to-get burl wood from Southeast Asia. I wanted to carve a uniquely shaped spoon that matched the oddness of this wood and its grain, and that showed over various layers of burl in the wood.
