Hi, I’m about to order a mrsnuff.com. They could advise me about 3 or 4 snuff that could not be missing from my order. What are those to be tested or yes? Thank you.

I would say one of some sort of SP - I’d recommend Wilsons of Sharrow SP100 or Gold Label as being good flavours and easy to take. Secondly something mentholated, but not too strong - perhaps Poschl Bayern-Prise or Bernard Zweifacher, both of which would give you an introduction to German-style snuff. Third, some sort of flavoured snuff - look at the Toque range for this and just pick a fruit flavour you like - my recommendation would be Pomegranate or Strawberry. Have fun!

You also may want to visit Toque’s site. You can purchase a “sample” selection of 10g tins at 10 tins for the price of 9. This way you could try an SP, a toast, some fruits and florals, and a lot of can’t miss flavors such as Whiskey and Honey, Almond Toast, Spanish Gem - no schmalzers though, but me, can’t stand the oily snuffs, so no German snuffs/no problems, but they are a fan favorite, for sure. Can’t go wrong either with Justin’s advice or Toque’s sample offer.

As just note, it may be best to order a “sample” pack as opposed to dropping serious money on large tins that you may not favor. While I am a strong believer that if you cross a snuff that doesn’t work for you- put it away in an air tight container and try it again in a few weeks- more for those new to snuff. My own experience with a plain Toque and a Silver Dollar struck me as too plain and not to my liking. Not too long later I gave both a second go and found them enjoyable. The great thing is that you have a world of snuff to experience and even if you set yourself on a particular style or scene profile, you can always sample new things with little investment.

Just buy Abraxas St.Casura and Cafe 11 ,These two are masterpieces; no need to buy 500 snuff to find the winner. Other would be SWS AA, F&T HDT ,6 Photo Kailash, Taxi red, Poschl Schmalzler Sudfrucht, WoS CoC, Mc C O&G, Dholakia Swiss Chocolate, De Kralingse Latakia AO 1860, SG Elmo’s Reserve,Toque Quit, Viking Dark. This will give you a good range on moisture,grind,and flavor variety .
