Advice on Next Order

G

Ok, Im enjoying my new snuffs but need advice from you vets. I really enjoy Toque Spanish Gem but its a lil too sweet. WoS Apricot is good but not something I enjoy all day. Same with WoS Lemon Grove. I enjoy a lil bit of citrus but WoS Lemon Grove is a lil too much and the nose doesnt last as long. I enjoy a nice tobacco background but not too much tobacco. SO what should I order next. Trying to find something I can snuff as a standard but the fruit snuffs are either too overwhelming or the flavor doesnt last as long as I would like. I dont hink im at the point where toasts are enjoyable ( still have probs with taking toasts to the brain ) but indoors the fruits smell like crap and the spanish gem is great!!! but just a lil too sweet.

If you like Spanish Gem but find it a little too sweet, try Toque Quit. Should be what your looking for. I recommend trying Samual Gawith No.1 High Mill Wilsons Strawberry Toque Original or Blueberry QWS Sandalwood or Jasmine Bespoke Gin & Tonic Dholakia Gin & Tonic or Roasted Nut

Sounds to me like you need an SP. Have you tried any of those?

@ Industro: go to the top of the page to FAQ/Guide. Scroll down to Beginner’s Guide and click on the pdf file.Snuffhouse FAQYou will find a list of snuffs recommended for beginners. I find it to be a bit out of date, and some of them would not be on my list, but its a good place to start.

Grim, If you are trying to find the right snuff for you, I suggest Wilson’s of Sharrow. It’s a very economically priced snuff that doesn’t skimp on quality. At around $2 USD a tin, you can order a ton of different varieties without breaking the bank (and they do have a ton of varieties). If you don’t like something, no worries, you’re only out a few bucks. Plus, with the crowd on snuffhouse, you might find someone willing to trade you for the stuff you don’t like. Once you have found a style that suits you, citrus, menthol, fruit etc; then you can move on to trying some of the higher priced snuff’s. I also think Poschl is a good brand for beginners. Happy hunting!

Grim, Toque Original has a bit of citrus, awesome tobacco base. I’ve mixed this with Samuel Gawith SP 100 and it was good, more balanced. Paul Gotard Tangerine has that warm tobacco feel and a splash of well, tangerine. way toned down compared to the Ozonas.

If you haven’t already tried some of them, put your money on the American dry snuffs and give the wheel a spin.

Ive got the whoel snuff thing down and one thing I hate about MOST beginner snuffs are they are very clogging. Im loving the Toque Grind and WoS. They are simple to take, and yes I do occasionally sniff too hard, but for the most part its very enjoyable. Ive been looking at trying Toque Orginal and some other SPs because I want to find something I really look foward to snuffing. At the moment im just like, eh, I guess ill sniff this, instead of, I cant wait to sniff this. Loving the products I just think I shouldve thrown some others in there as well to kinda get an all around judgement instead of just fruits and menthol without any pure tobaccos or SPs.

I’ll echo the wilson’s comment. Any of the following have a nice flavor (but not too much) and I could take all day. Most are SPs: Best SP Tom Buck/Queens Extra Strong SP 100 Gold Label Grand Cairo Irish High Toast 22 (once you can handle toasts) From other companies: Toque Original Samuel Gawith Yellow Crest Keep us posted! Look at some recent threads, I think some folks were trading/selling off things they tried and didn’t like. This is a great and cheap way to try a lot quickly and find your favorites!

Most of the Samuel Gawith snuffs are very beginner friendly.
