Sometimes it is handy to be able to look at someone’s profile and know a little more about them.  We’ve started very simple and added these fields to everyone profile:

• First Name:  (you can put your first and last name if you want…its a text box)
• Location:  (probably good for putting the town in which you live…but I’m sure we’ll get some silly stuff as well)
• Website:  (again, its a text box.  So, put in your web address, your blog address, your youtube channel, whatever you want)
  These fields are currently NOT REQUIRED at the time of registration.  They are just options, if you as a member want to share a little more details about yourself.  If you want to add this information just (1) go to your profile by clicking on your username, (2) click on edit profile in the top-right corner of your profile, and then (3) enter the information you want to enter.  You can also choose to allow other members to see your email if you want.  The default is for your email to be hidden.

If you have any suggestions for informaton to add to the profile, let us know.  We can do text boxes, single-selection drop down menus, and checkboxes.

P.S.  Not sure if anyone noticed, but I got rid of the grayed-out editing buttons on the top of the window when you are writing a post.  Now, only the buttons that work are showing up.
