So if you were getting married in the summer time and you would like to use a fine elegant snuff which doesn’t run, doesn’t provoke sneezing or coughing easily and one that smells in such a way that it reminds your bride that she indeed made a hell of a choice! Which snuff would you choose?

I got married at the end of April 2011 and my wife bought me a silver snuff box as my ‘something silver’ and I filled it with Toque SP Extra. This is a brilliant snuff, beautiful taste, doesn’t run (for me) and is tasty enough to be passed around to first timers if you so wish. Plus it is one of the snuffs my wife sometimes actually takes! I would recommend it.

I actually have a tin of SP Extra and I’ve been considering it a very strong contestant for what I should use on my wedding day. It’s elegant somehow and fits the season and setting for the wedding. It will go well with the cake and you can use it all day. Field of Junipers sounds absolutely lovely, I have a very good feeling about this one for the wedding and I love the detail you paid attention to for the cause @lunecat - of how the tin looks and how it would suit in the jacket pocket. I will be ordering this a bit before the wedding and compare it with SP Extra and see what I choose. I have actually thought about this as a snuff for the wedding before, just the name and its reviews ring the right bell for me.

Well when I too got married my wife bought me a nice Nathaniel Mills snuffbox and I filled it with Fribourg and Treyer Bordeaux, for all of the reasons you mentioned. Something that does not make me sneeze, reasonably strong and one I felt suited the occasion. Congratulations…
