A possible solution for clogged nose.

I have tried to switch from smoking to snuff in the past, but the thing that always stopped me was that it clogged up my nose so quickly that i couldn’t last half a day. Has anyone ever thought about making a suspension by mixing very fine grind snuff into water and then loading it into a refillable nasal spray? It would be even better to extract all the chemicals to make a solution instead of a suspension, but that involves chemistry and i don’t know how to do that. I’m thinking i will try to make a nasal spray using the water suspension of snuff tobacco. What do you guys think about this?

I’ll leave the chat about making a nasal spray to the more able to answer, but I’m wondering if you were trying snuff with menthol in, and getting rebound congestion from it- a few of us do, and it would’ve put me off snuff in a minute!

Nope. I’ve used mentholated tobacco free snuff and that doesn’t cause congestion, but all tobacco snuff i’ve tried does. But i’ve only tried Paul Gotard aniseed eucalyptus and Abraxas fin

I won’t be trying the nasal spray snuff idea, but let us know how it works out. I would recommend trying more snuff. Maybe something high nicotine that doesn’t clog you up? I don’t know… maybe Toque Quit, 6 Photo Natural, Thor’s Hammer, an Indian white, or a toast of some type…? Snuff is a great way to quit smoking and I’m sure there’s a snuff out there that won’t congest you that you’ll also end up really liking.

Where would i buy a sample of different snuffs so i can experiment with which one won’t congest me?

Mr. Snuff, Toque, @chefdaniel

6 Photo Special is my go to snuff for easy breathing.

Try TAXI Red, strong but does not get too far up the nose.
