Well 19 days since order and 13 since shipping my mr snuff order rolled into town. Serendipitously it arrives the same day as my order from Tom rolls in on the UPS truck. So it will be a good nic’ed up day in the Rowles house. Only one thing I wondered I order from Mr, Snuff when it said about the free snuf spoon on orders over $30-$35 and I ordered over $40.00. I was hoping I would get a spoon. I didn’t read see if it said when the promo ended but it was on the home screen and it was the 31st so I figured it was still good. I made my order high enough to get it otherwise I would have gotten a handcarved one I liked elsewhere instead of the extra cans of my faves… It’s no really big deal and I know the spoon was Not one of the super fly handcarved ones and , I’m just happy my 6 tins of Super Kailash, 3 Tins sun Pari, 3 tins Sher and 5 photo special got here and in good condition. I’m just one of those obsessive collectors when I get a hobby and I intentionally made my order higher to get it. I probably missed something somewhere though so it could be my bad. All in all I didn’t wait too terribly long and everything got here intact. Now I will watch out the window for my 3 Dholakias, my WoS and my other Sun and a another litte something else from elsewhere that will make the day just peachy in this neck of the woods
The spoon is very tiny and taped to the receipt, you may have missed it I almost did
I also did not get a spoon in my 2 January order. It was not shipped until 7 January. The spoon offer was still up on the website after I ordered but taken down before my package shipped. I also ordered over $40 in that order. I am not mad, but I am a little disappointed. I have to email Dave about a snuff box question that I have. I’ll mention the spoon thing. I just worry about a freebie in a future offer being missed, and I feel bad making him mail it separately and buying a stamp just for that.
I received a spoon with my order. It is very small, about an inch maybe. Not very usefull for getting at the bottom of the F&T tins. From the picture on the site I was thinking it would be a bit larger. It’s good for taking small amounts of the stronger snuffs like dw.
I know it’s petty but I’m obsessive bout these things. I checked my receipt but nada. I wish now I’d got that $20 spoon but too late now because I have chunky payments I got to make so I can’t afford one Just nice to have em for the collection
Maybe I could stick my spoon under a stamp on a postcard to you. It wouldn’t be worth any more than that. But my 10 year old daughter announcing while in town with her Mom, to a cashier, that ‘Daddy has a tiny metal spoon at home’ is priceless.
@thenoseknows: sorry about the spoon. we had 200 of them but ran out faster than I could replace them. I have tried multiple times to order more but can’t even get a response from the vendor. Have to look elsewhere I guess. Remind me on yr next order (email me directly right when you order or I’ll miss it and they ship following morning these days) and I’ll get shipping to send you something for free. Dave
