6 Photo Kailash review

First of all, don’t read this if you haven’t tried Kailash before, because you might expect too much afterwards, which would ruin the experience. Just try it. Also my experiences are highly subjective and I haven’t tried any Artisan Snuffs yet. I’ve been using Snuff on and off for about 2 years now, started with Gletscherprise to quit smoking, but soon I found great pleasure in trying out different Snuffs to find the ones I can enjoy the most. I’ve tried out around 50 different Snuffs until now (probably not much for many of you), slowly becoming able to distinguish between the different smells and progressively developing my nasal skills and taste. I obsessed over Snuff, read through the forums, spent hours scrolling through the shops, sometimes I thought I was mentally ill for obsessing that much over such a “banal” thing(no offense). I loved SPs, Fruit Snuffs, a few well-known Classics and even a Toast which I didn’t expect at first and I was always waiting for my next order to come, thinking my Snuff Journey would never end. Then I’ve made a huge mistake. Out of curiosity and propensity for exotic things, I ordered a small and inconspicuous 8 gram container of 6 Photo Kailash. The price was extremely cheap compared to other Snuffs and I didn’t expect much since I haven’t read that much about high quality indian snuffmaking craftsmanship and after the few reviews I’ve read I thought the most people using Indian Snuffs are high grade nicotine addicts who need the cheapest and most nose-penetrating stuff they can get with the highest possible amount of nicotine. I was a miserable fool. When I opened the tin, it was like a Bollywood-version of this scene : http://youtu.be/WYhDHvzsVEE Then I took the first pinch and my head nearly exploded - snuffgasm. I almost couldn’t take it, it was too much. Holy Indianfrankincense-MichaelBay in my nose. I didn’t expect something like that and I don’t know if I’m ready for it. I could only compare it to something like lying in a real bed after 10 years of unjust imprisonment in a labour camp, while losing your virginity to 2 “Into the Blue(2005)” Jessica Alba- twins, while being high on several illegal drugs I’m not allowed to refer to. Too good. The beautiful scent stayed in my nose for ages and the light menthol was refreshing and completely different from the snuffs I was used to . I don’t even know if that’s menthol, to my suprise it doesn’t clog me up at all and leaves my nose with an extremely pleasant, tingling and cooling sensation, also it does the contrary of drying my nose out like most of the other snuffs I know. The scents, combined with the feeling in the nose are the most amazing snuff experience I ever had, if not the best thing that has ever happened in my life at all and I’ve seen everything. I don’t have any tattoos yet but I think about getting the 6 Photo Logo inked on my chest. I want to have this Snuff in my nose when I die. The terrible downside I experienced, was that all my other snuffs tasted disgusting for a while after my first pinch of Kailash. A classic english menthol for example, which is one of my favorites, tasted like someone just threw a few cigarettes and a tube of toothpaste in a dirty old blender and mixed it all together. I thought Kailash was a one way ticket to Indian Snuffs for me at that time, but I’m slowly recovering now.

6 photo Kailash,Special & Anarkali are just tops in my book for the black varieties of 6 Photo. I also like Dholakia Taj and 41 P Himtaj. These exotic beauties of India I hold in high esteem. Ever so refreshing but I employ them on occasion not so to get burned out. I was hesitant at first to try any Indian snuffs ,But once I did I was all in. I do rotation of my collection, and this is one I purchased early in bulk as not to run out any time soon.

I have always though of Kailash as a menthol snuff for those that don’t like menthol snuff! It has enough to open up the sinus to get the flavors though, which are there , as opposed to many flavored menthol snuffs which are mainly just another medicated snuff with little real tobacco or other scent

Over-the-top yet incredible review! Asides from some radical affirmations, I agree with most of your points. In fact, I discovered Kailash the same way you did, and was very sad to see my 8 grams tin fly… so I had to order a 50 grams one ASAP. Also, listen to @basement_shaman, all of the snuffs he lists are on the same stile, and all are terrific to use occasionaly (though my nose doesn’t seem to agree with the Special and Anarkali no more, which is a shame). Along with Viking Dark, HDT and some German plains, they form the basis of my snuff diet lately. I hope you keep reviewing your finds with such a great enthusiasm.

I love the scent but find it too messy for using regularly. I do like to have a little tucked away for occasional use though

Welcome to the wonderful world of Indian snuffs! Not only does 6 Photo make great snuffs, but they also have ISO Certification (International Organization for Standardization) – something I have never seen accomplished (or even attempted) by any other tobacco product manufacturer. ISO Certification means that QUALITY is a top priority!

@basement_shaman I will purchase all of them . Taking Indian Snuffs only occasionally seems to be a good idea to inhibit overstimulation. @MarvinLapsus Thanks, I think there are only a few Snuffs that amaze me like Kailash does and I will definitely review them too. @howdydave Sounds great, but it doesn’t matter that much to me since I would snuff radioactive batfeces, if it smelled like Kailash does. I wish there was a light version with half the nicotine of Kailash, so I could snuff twice the amount.
