Does anyone know where I can buy 5 Photo snuff in tins smaller than 50g? I would like to try them all but don’t want to shell out the cash to buy all of them in 50g tins and then not like them. I know Nicotine rush has the 50g tins, but can’t find anyone else that sells 5 Photo. Thanks Fury

I think that’s all your gonna find, unless you go to India. I like the 5 Photo snuffs alot. But I understand not wanting to take a chance. Have you had the Sun Snuffs?

Gonna try the Sun snuffs next when I get more money, trying to stock on on all the different snus I use also. After they stop letting us get overtime & took a 10% pay cut money is kinda short atm. I still haven’t gotten around to ordering the 100g bag of Toque Whiskey & Honey yet, thats my go to snuff right there =) I went ahead and ordered the 50g tin of Super Himalaya from NicotineRush, heard thats the best one, I hope. On a side note, anyone know of a snuff that smells like Nag Champa? I’ve searched for that also but don’t know if it exists.

Some have said that Himalaya smells of Nag Champa, not sure if that’s the super or not.

The Super Himalaya is very good, though personally, I think the regular Himalaya is best, and the Special second best.

I really enjoy all the 5 Photo snuffs and have at least one of them with me every day. I think if you want to try them you will have to buy the 50g as no one else sells it.

Well, I got my Super Himalaya and it is AWESOME! I also got a small sample of the Himalaya and I am glad it was just a sample. It’s not bad, but has a bit more menthol in it than the Super does. I have someone sending me a sample of the Special so I can try that and see if I wanna get 50g of that. Now, I just need to find someplace that has the Raja#5. =)

I actually like the Hmalaya and the 5 photo Special better than the super himalaya. But I do like the Super Himalaya which is golden in color. Problem though is that these other two are black and they have a tendency to show up under the nose conspicuously after taking them. Since I keep my Snuff Habit low Key I only take them at home where it doesn’t matter if I have a black trail under my nose.

I’ve only tried the Himalaya, and I think it’s great! It smells just like a head shop.

I finally got Himalaya after Mr Snuff forgot to send it to me in its first package… problem is I ordered Super Himalaya too! Hopefully that will show up eventually.

I love the regular Himalaya.

I want the one they arn’t going to carry. I have these already. Though I have no idea what it’s like. Sagar Snuff The yellow coloured Sagar Snuff is made from the rich tobacco leaves cultivated in Western India. This snuff is very fine and is free flowing. This snuff blend has developed loyal following among the value conscious consumers.

Agreed. I have wanted to try Sagar ever since I first tried the others (of which all are among my favorite snuffs).

IMHO, 5 Photo is the King of Menthol Snuffs. I love Highland Ice, Gletcher Prise and a raft of others, but 5 satisfies in ways the others can’t touch. A step into the fresh air after a pinch is like walking into Shangri La. It’s a near mystical experience. The only other Snuff that does that to me is F&T Old Paris.

I’ve not tried the 5 Photo snuff yet but will have to get some now! Problem is I have so much snuff already, I only want to order either Himalaya or Super Himalaya, not both. Which one should it be?

That’s hard to say, but after doing them both for a while, a part of me wants to say the Super.

Never tried the super but Tom sent me some Himalaya and must say its one of the nicest snuffs i’ve tried. I use it as a Saturday night treat when I binge on it lol. Stefan

I really like Himalaya, but Super is just too incensey for me, but it may grow on me. So I’d say go with the Himalaya first and if you find you want more of that incense flavour then you can try Super Himalaya

Super Himalaya is my favorite snuff hands down, thus I must recommend it over Himalaya. Himalaya is a fantastic snuff however, don’t get me wrong. But Super Himalaya (from my perspective) is even greater.

I’ve never tried either but for the love of god only one of them has the word super in the name. Seriously it’s super how could anything be better. Just kidding but if you don’t have enough info to go on just pick one randomly. At least that is what I’d do.

Lets not forget the Special Snuff. It’s great too. I think their website says the Himalaya is attar scented, and the Special is musk, or maybe the other way around. But it’s good too. And the little one is good too.

I have not had the Special or the Raja, hoping to get both of those when Mr. Snuff gets them in.

Pieter, I realize you say you only want to try one of them but honestly, all of them I have tried (except Sagar) and they are all distinct and wonderful. I have a couple hundred grams of Himalaya, Special, and Super Himalaya and maybe 30 grams of Raja stored away in case I run out. Which is saying a lot considering these snuffs are the only ones which I have felt compelled to ‘stock up’ on.

The Raja is going to be a chore for me to finish, even in the tiny 7g size. I like the others well enough, but this one still seems like a urinal puck scent.

I’ve ordered Himalaya Super along with some WoS CoC Extra and Burgundy.

Talk about a close call! I was about to make an order last night, but I wanted to wait for these to come in!

I think these 5 Photo snuffs are my fave snuffs. The grind and moisture is just right, I get a great sniff, it doesn’t fly back into my throat and lungs, and the menthol is just right, gives a nice cooling effect and does not make my nose clog like some others do, and the flavor/scents are very unique and pleasant. I could use these exclusivley and be fine and satisfied.

I misread, thought you said you had Sagar lol… I am with you there tom. I reach for 5 photo a great majority of the time that I am snuffing. My poor other tins have been getting neglected.

I’ve had a chance to try three of the 5 Photos this week, and I find these snuffs really splendid. Well, perhaps Raj is little weird, but both Himalaya and Special are exquisite; good N lift, long lasting exotic aroma and easily taken. Along with these, I got couple of Dholakias as well (White and Sparrow Cool), but they don’t even compete for my attention right now. Perhaps later. Very interesting, these Indian snuffs. Only minus with the Photos I can think of is that they are bit messy to take. I seem to have a black smudge under my nose after every pinch. Not so cool when in public. I wonder if that grind/moistness would be bulletable? Has anyone tried? Who sells larger bullets anyway?

I take 5 Photo with the spoon on my pipe tool, just scape off the top and fluff it out a bit then scoop and sniff, its not messy at all. I find spoons to be the cleanest way to take snuff.

I, too, have used a czech tool for these and other moister snuffs (like schmalzlers), but somehow don’t feel comfortable spooning (heh) in public. Also, I’d like to advice one to aquire 10gr smash boxes along with the 10gr 5 Photos, because the original containers aren’t very easy to use.

I filled a bullet with 5 Photo for taking to work. It feels a little like one of my eyes is going to pop loose doing it that way, but oh well. Best strategy to combat the smudges from it is by growing a mustache, IMO.

@# Mr_Snuffypants: Yes, I tried with a small Toque bullet and what little purple haze comes through, isn’ t enough. The mustache idea is good, I certainly won’t be carrying a rabbits foot around.

@Robert, moustache does not work for me, mine is snow white. When I’ve had some Dholakia Taj I have to shampoo the old broom.

I’m too inexperienced to attempt a review so I just say (WOW) but I, like some of you will never again be without this exquisite substance. If I can help it.
