I experimented with a few premium tobaccos over the last few weeks and was able to conjure up a snuff of extreme power. This stuff is so strong it gives me the hiccups along with queasiness and general malaise in excessive amounts. The ‘high’ is not just a quick lift but lasts a couple minutes. All in all, I’m pretty excited with the results and plan on experimenting with flavorings next; maybe some camphor and menthol.

Are you planning suicide ??

maybe use a neutral or natural snuff to blend in. This will lower the blast of nicotine, and give you a larger yield. Getting accustom to such high levels of nicotine may ruin your enjoyment for other snuffs of lesser “power”. Just my 2 cents.

What tobacco did you use?

Thanks for the feedback, I used some of the lungbusting Lookout Black zware along with some virginia to smooth it out a some. It is a potent tobacco that’s NLA in the US but I have a couple pouches I was lucky enough to run across a while back. Makes for a better tasting snuff than it is to smoke and the nicotine content is huge! I’m thinking many RYO tobaccos could make for a decent snuff.

The American Spirit Black (perique) makes a nice snuff as well.

I might have to try making some from the AS. Thing is, then I’ll want to smoke some roll ups too.

Snuffdog, On another post you mentioned a dark air cured Columbian blend? I’m very curious.

It’s a dark air cured tobacco that I was gifted with a while back, I’ll have to get the name of it again, that’s all I know it as. Powerful stuff that can either be pipe smoked or stuffed/rolled, and now a snuff.

There is really nothing like good tobacco is there?
