128 S. Front Street, Philadelphia, PA

Has anyone used Google earth to see the address listed on the Levi bottle. The bottle says “At the draw bridge”. There is no bridge, but the address is very close to the water.

Neat idea, lets spy on Roderick next lol

Unless you are a subscriber, the image will be an old one.

I didn’t realize you could subscribe. hmm. So i guess its updated more frequently for subscribers?

next time I’m in Philly I’ll get a pic for you guys. Snuffy and I are both about 20 miles away from there. He’s west and I’m south. Right there are no more draw bridges. Suspension bridges, ferry and last time I was there they were putting in a cable car to cross the river.

I wouldn’t want to take pictures of that building because if I am taking pictures of it, that means that I am in Philadelphia. HA. ~Snuffy

That’s very quaint, Roderick. I think the tour requests will start rolling in now! “From his small laboratory and study in the historic Merchant’s House, nestled away on a tree lined street in Berwick-upon-Tweed, Roderick, the man behind Toque Snuff quietly blends his magic potions. Devotees from around the world consider the man a genius and connaiseur of the classic art of grinding tobaccos and flavoring them to come up with the world’s most beloved snuff.”

@ Snuffy, the address for Garrett’s is actually in a touristy section of Philly (Penn’s Landing) so not one of the worst parts of town.

@xander I think snuffy like myself feels he has better places to be then philly like anywhere. I us Pa boys really tend to not like philly alot, heck pittsburgh is better in my opinion and it’s really just a big town. The one cool thing in philly is the mueter (not sure on the spelling sorry). Plus there is a good chance there are people he might see in philly he’d have to kill if he saw (it’s statistics people). here is to Philthydelphia.

i know what he means. but your’re out in the PA boonies. he and I actually live in Phily’s metro region, like it or not. The place has its perks. certainly more culture than Wilmington. all we have is dupont and banks. very little night life and very few attractions (but probabaly more than Oxford- they only have mushroom farms!)

I personaly believe the term PA boonies is redundant.

you’ve got me there.

OK…I grew up in Philly and never noticed this…now I’ll have to check it out next time I am in Center City (for those of you not familiar with the terminology of the area…that’s Downtown Philly proper). I’m guessing this is Society Hill area or Olde City?

There is absolutely nothing to do in Oxford. Pretty much anything entertaining is about 40 minutes away. I was born in Philly, and most of my family lived there up until recently. I just don’t go there if I don’t have to. Ha. ~Snuffy

@phillysci76: as above, its at Penns Landing. Where do you live now?

If there are enough of us, we maybe should arrange for a snuff takers meeting somwhere in the vicinity, like some of the guys are planning in London. This would give Snuffy (and me) a reason to go there. We can visit the site and see what’s there now, then go into old city to a nice pub and snuff all night. Maybe even dinner at the City Tavern? Washington, Jefferson and all the great snufftakers of the Revolution went there! It could be an informal organizational meeting of the Delaware Valley Chapter of the ISTA! Anybody game for it?

Xander…I moved into the Lansdale area. (West Point/Montco) I’d be up for a meeting in Philly!
