Kendal’s a nice little town @pantsBoots Only about 40 miles from where I live so we’ve been a few times. The other thing they are famous for is Kendal Mint cake, which if you don’t know is pretty much just mint flavoured sugar. Fantastic stuff.

There’s also a long standing history with paper making. James Cropper have been making paper there since 1845 and hold the sole contract for all of the red and green paper used in poppy making for the annual British Legion poppy appeal.

@Hoffwell You are fortunate to be so close. Next time we visit Cornwall, I will plan an overnight trip with the family up those parts so Daddy can see how his favorite tobaccos are made and meet the folks who do it.
