Bram Stoker's Jewel of 7 Stars

I came across this novel a few days ago. Though I had to read Dracula a few decades ago, I don’t know much of Stoker’s work. This one is from the first decade of the 20th Century and features a tobacco trifecta. Early on, a physician takes a pinch of snuff. Later, two characters conspire to meet for a private conversation over cigars. Later still, a meeting is planned over pipes. These are brief, incidental mentions, but I found them interesting.

It’s a great novel.  I enjoyed it even though it royally pissed me off.
