not sure i want to be taking ‘stiffness pinch’.

rigid pinch. Like it’s sturdy and strong. Or that’s what I’am guessing without understanding anything about the german language.

google chrome’s page translate gave me ‘stiffness pinch’, translate gives me ‘stiff pinch’, crappy translator in my computer gives me ‘rigid prize’. i like stiff pinch best out of those.

“This time it’s a little lighter tobacco, which makes a lot of regular menthol and peppermint to its name.”

Maybe its similar to the meaning of a ‘good stiff drink’ Like a double Whisky.

I would hope so. though it says lighter tobacco, so not sure.

This could be interesting ,I usually take Bernard’s in cooler weather, this having menthol and peppermint may be good in the warmer weather.

Not my cup of tea so to say. If I purchased it, I would probably feel like I have been “stiffed” just kidding. I like many many of the Bernard’s ( especially Schmalzers ) Do have the Toque Peppermint, its good, if thats your thing, not one I visit much though, back of drawer sort of snuff

There’s Viagra in it? Great!!

Somehow I associated the stiffness with sailing ships. Rigid as in rigging? Maybe I’m reading too much into the painting on the box. By the way, that’s also another winner in Bernard’s excellently detailed box images.

It’s a pun on ‘Steife Brise’, which in German means as much as ‘Stiff Breeze’, hence the sailing ship.

Don’t tell anyone you’re actually enjoying the artwork, @lunecat , next thing you know there’ll be mandatory educational photos of people with huge, black, oozing holes where their noses used to be. Our ruling bodies don’t seem to get the - hmmm - picture. Any enjoyment, aesthetical, olfactory or otherwise, will be crushed. Let’s just stay under the radar.

My wife wants me to. In fact she’s being damn right insistent about it.

I just asked my German girlfriend for a translation and she said a “bracing pinch”, which makes sense, with the menthol and nautical imagery. Reminds me of the skegness sailor.

I just tried some of this snuff and I think the bracing or stiffness pinch refers to the extreme blast of peppermint it delivers, just like biting into an Altoid mint, you have to brace yourself for a second. Definitely a stiff breeze in your nose. It has a very strong sharp peppermint bite, much stronger than any peppermint snuff I’ve tried.

Nice clearing effect

It is indeed a “stiff pinch”. Powerful, clean and refreshing. More than the other peppermints I have tried. A little sharp actually, almost too sharp. But after a minute or two, it is quite nice. Not somethingI’d want to take all day, or in repeated pinches, but I like it. Not sure if I’ll order it again, but its a nice change from the ususal German mentol heavy types we all are familiar with.

my shirt is brown from all of it thats fallen out of my nose, its awesome
