Paul Gotard

The Bursztyn z mieta IS nothing short of brilliant. The mint isn’t overpowering, the amber isn’t too sweet, and suddenly everything smells like what the afterlife looks like in What Dreams May Come. EASY to take, too.

sums it up pretty well

Paul Gotard is now restocked. Maybe I did not order enough Latakia. It is more popular than I thought.

I ordered 7 PG snuffs in my last order and have been slowly trying them today.  Overall they are pretty decent.  I think they are a contract brand, not sure who makes them, I would have to guess that it would either be Roderick or Namrata.  The only thing I don’t like is the drowning menthol.  Some flavors like Fruit Mix are worse than others, the Coffee would be divine without the menthol.  I missed out on the two special editions, I was really looking forward to the Amber.

Anyone else have thoughts?

Coffee with menthol sounds odd. Not two flavours I would have thought to put together.

@sloth357 I have QWS Irish coffee, and it has a touch of menthol.  The coffee in it smells great, and the menthol reminds me of something sort of like coffee icecream.

Of the four Paul Gotard snuffs I have tried, Blackberry, Latakia, Black Night & Poziomka z mieta, I like the Poz the best, it’s fruity with a wine or liquor quantity, the Black Night reminds me of a F&T, Blackberry has good flavor and burn and the Latakia I don’t like due to the course dry grind (similar to Molens IMO) which I can’t stand either.

I picked up a tin of the Chocolate Orange on my last order.  Real good chocolate scent to it, reminds me of a well made brownie.  The orange is there, and certainly reminds me of something, but I can’t quite say what.  It’s sufficiently different from the WoS offering to warrant having both.

I waiting for the one in the glass bottle to come back in stock, it’s been out for a while now.

Some Paul Gotard use menthol(Fruit Mix,Blackberry…),others not(Rum,Black Night…),or just a bit of(Irish Cream,too have a better long lasting on part I think).

Without many rewiews for a new buyer of those snuffs,it’s each time a surprise, new menthol declinason? New general one ?

The thing really important Is on quality witch is here at time,if I find a trouble is on their too small dispensers(7g only).

Mr Snuff has Paul Gotard snuffs again. Any thoughts on these by those who have tried them?

only tried the ones in the glass bottle which were excellent. Never tried their regular line.

I like these when available. I’ll have to get some next order. I also wonder what happened to Stok Charlotte. That snuff has a scent absolutely like no other. It’s very interesting and delicious if you can get it.

@mrmanos if you ever locate Stok Charlotte please let me know, I would like to buy a box or two of the tap boxes. A forum friend was kind enough to share a year ago and it blew me away I have all the Gotards up on MrSnuff on order

Has anyone tried Gotard Plain? Really curious about how the tobacco smells minus menthol and flavorings. Sounds like it might be good but do not see any reviews.

@SammyD13 not too much risk for how cheap it is. If you get some and don’t like it I’ll gladly trade you for it.

Thank you @tobaccobob and @rostanf! Interestingly, this snuff is apparently not plain at all but a mint snuff (non-mentholated). Maybe the “plain” just means not mentholated.

I just saw some new Gotards on Mr Snuff about an hour ago. Kashubian and a couple others. This brand is kind of hit or miss for me. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I loved the Stok Charlotte, which is also a Polish snuff and different from any snuff I have ever had.

@mrmanos if you ever find more Charlotte please please let me know I really don’t care for the PG base. The added ‘flavor’ scenting I love but if it isn’t strong enough to mask the base I haven’t enjoyed them. If you like Dholakia’s less scented varieties you may like these, as I think both have the same funkiness to their base
