That’s correct. It was written by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, they gave it to Big Mama, who recorded it in 1952. Elvis covered it in '56. The Presley version is by far the most popular, but I prefer the original. It’s on the 'Tube, recorded in mono of course, but still very much worth a listen.
