I really don’t listen to any “modern”, but the local alternative station has been playing some real “ear candy”.

Billy Joel- We Didnt Start the Fire.

The Doo Wop Box

(Actually, all 4 volumes of the Doo Wop Box, each volume has 4 CDs.) 404 pieces of Doo Wop shoud just about get me through the day.

Lightnin Hopkins has been on there for the last couple of days- celebrating what would be his 100th birthday.  Here’s my tribute- I have a personal challenge to post 100 barely-rehersed acoustic cover songs by year’s end.
