Hi all. Big time lurker here. Anyway, I normally use/recycle Toque 10g tin for carrying snuff through the day. I have recently had galling issues with the threads. Bad enough I had to destroy an SP Extra tin because I just could not get the top to loosen, and I have strong hands. The tin was probably a year or two ols and just ?wore out? Has anyone had issues like this? Anyone have a source of either anodized tins or better tins in general? The size of the Toque 10g tin is perfect. I do not want glass (heavy) or plastic (gets ruined by menthol crystal abrasion). Any thoughts? Is steel better that the aluminum, though it can still gall?
Hey there, @Cappadoc!
These are what I’ve been using and others I’ve sent them to like them as well:

P.S. I order both the 1 and 2 ounce containers and they both fit pockets easily.

Are those more durable? Or essentially the same?

Much more durable. Much more coarse threads as well. No gaskets though

Agreed … it will keep fine for a few days and then I refill from jars when empty or dried.

Thanks
My pleasure!
OK, upon further thought, does anyone know of any tins with a lid liner/gasket?
