Has anyone on the forum tried this one yet? It’s been out for awhile and I haven’t read or seen a written word about it. If you’ve tried it, how is it?
Yes and Highly recommended. One of my favourites, similar to Toques version but not quite as fine, although I’d still class it as a toast.
Both the whisky and honey quite pronounced but “smoother” than the Toque and easier to take. The Whisky (fine Lowland malt) comes in first, slowly blending with the Honey, fading slowly over about 5 mins or so.
I’ve been in touch with WofS as I’m down to my last 25g tin and my usual suppliers have run out of stock. Horror of horrors it’s yet another one that has been discontinued.
